03.15.2025 - Jen is featured in a YouTube video about her music in the “Rabbids” saga! Spark (who goes by the channel name “Sparkling Waters”) goes in depth about Jen’s contributions to the franchise and does a deep dive of her music in the “experimental years.”

12.9.2024 - It's Oscar voting week! "Oren's Way" is now in consideration for the Academy Awards!

7.25.2024 - "Oren's Way" screens at Comicon San Diego and was followed by an onstage panels discussions by creator Keika Lee and some of the crew!

10.22.2023 - "Oren’s Way” has won the Best Animated Short award at the LA Femme Film Festival this evening! Along with winning Best Children’s Animation at the Rhode Island International Film Fest, it has screened at over 10 other festivals so far!

8.20.2023 - Not only has the animated short “Odd Dog” won the Best Animation Film Award at Cannes Shorts (2022) and 4 other awards between 2022-2023, but it shows today at Cinequest! The film has screened at over 20 other film festivals.

9.7.2021 - Jen has been chosen to have music in Intellivision’s Retro Reimagined games for the new Amico family oriented gaming system which includes new versions of Moon Patrol, Pong and Snafu!

11.08.2014 - The short film “If We Took a Holiday”, scored by Jennifer Kes Remington, was named Best Overall Film at the Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival! The short was also included in the “Best of Fest” at LA’s Outfest and received several other accolades since its World Premiere in July.

09.28.2014 - Jennifer Kes Remington was recently interviewed for The University of Michigan’s Michigan Daily newspaper about the music she has composed for video games. Check out the article here!

10.17.2013 - The “Rabbids Big Bang” game app was released today! You can get it for both the iPhone and Android platforms!

09.10.2013 - The trailer for the “Rabbids Big Bang” iPhone/Android game was released today (some of the music from the game is featured in the trailer). The game itself will be coming out in October!

06.23.2013 - A song called “Je L’ai Tuée” by Jennifer Kes Remington was featured in the ABC show “Mistresses” ("Breaking and Entering", season 1, episode 3)! Scroll ahead to 33:10 to see the scene.

11.08.2011 - The “Raving Rabbids: Alive and Kicking” video game came out today and is available in stores! You can order a copy online here. The game is on the Kinect for Xbox 360 platform.

03.31.2011 - Today, the Honolulu Film Awards announced that “Hollywood, 90038” will receive the “Best Documentary Feature” award at the 2011 festival! 04.15.2010 - "Hollywood, 90038” has been chosen as an Official Finalist at the 2010 Las Vegas Film Festival! The film was among the best of over 1,000 films submitted from over 30 countries around the world. The award for the documentary will be presented at the LVFF closing ceremonies on June 6th.

12.03.2007 - Jen and Jim Venable are nominated today for a THIRD Annie Award for Best Music in an Animated Television Production for “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends”!!! The Annie Awards ceremony will take place on February 8th, 2008.

10.14.2007 - The edgy indie documentary “Hollywood, 90038” directed by Jennifer Kes Remington won BEST DOCUMENTARY this weekend at the LA Femme Film Festival in Los Angeles!

10.02.2007 - Today, nominations were announced for the Film and TV Music Awards, and Jen has been nominated for TWO! One is for the indie film “Socket” and one is for “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends”! The awards are unique because voting is open to people working in the music industry and only honors people in Film/TV Music Industry related categories. The winners are announced October 30th!

10.01.2007 - "Socket" has been picked up for distribution by TLA Releasing/TLA Video! The film will be available on DVD in first quarter 2008, and possibly on Video-On-Demand and Pay-Per-View shortly afterwards.

09.17.2007 - The indie documentary by Hey Dogg! Productions entitled “Hollywood, 90038” was accepted into its first film festival today, LA FEMME FILM FESTIVAL! LA Femme Film Festival is a premier festival that focuses on women filmmakers’ platforming their commercial films for the world wide audience. The movie will screen on Friday, October 12, 2007.

07.19.2007 - "Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” is nominated for an Emmy Award! The Category is “Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming One Hour or More)”. It was for the episode entitled “Good Wilt Hunting”. The Emmys telecast is set for September 16th.

06.01.2007 - The indie feature “Socket” is accepted into the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Fest, Gaylaxicon in Atlanta, and Outfest in Los Angeles. It has gotten several positive reviews so far including one from The Advocate magazine.

03.22.2007 - Velvet Candy Entertainment, part of the producing team on the film “Socket”, has a fantastic blog up to post updates on the film’s movement. See today’s post in which they talk about Jennifer’s score on the film.

02.11.2007 - Jen and Jim Venable win an Annie award for Music in an Animated Television Series, for “Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends”! This is the second Annie win for Jen, the fourth for Jim.

11.23.2006 - Thanksgiving Day: Be sure not to miss the “Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends” float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! The float will feature characters from the show and will play the Beatles tune “A Little Help From My Friends” (Fosters style!) arranged by none other than composer James L. Venable.
